I have seen so many cute succulent garden's on Pinterest! I wanted to make one. Since I am doing more things I pin on Pinterest... well, this was going to happen. Thankfully my friend (my BFF Neighbor's sister) Melodie not only wanted to make one too, but is also a plant expert. Since we are nearing spring... we were both in a planting mood. Thursday we drove up to Draper together to pick out some succulents at "Cactus and Tropicals" which is a magical place by the way. It is beautiful there and they have the best plants. I will go back there for sure.
Saturday we planted our succulent gardens and I LOVE how they turned out.
Melodie's is very earthy. I love all of the natural elements to it. She got rocks and sticks from the river.
Here is mine. Really love it.
I made two different ones. Just a single one in a vase that I gave to my mom as a late birthday present.
The other one is for my living room. At first I thought I wanted it in glass, but I like this more.
Project Success! Thanks Melodie for doing this with me.

Thank you! Can't wait to see it in person!
ReplyDeleteI brought it to your house on Sunday. It is in the window above the sink in the kitchen. :)
ReplyDeleteNeat! Succulents are great because they are so low maintenance.
ReplyDeleteAwesome job! Succulents always remind me of Lotus Land in Montecito.
