We have been having a TON of rain these last couple of weeks. And this last week in particular we have been having some cool thunder and lighting storms. I LOVE it.
Saturday night MacKenzie and I were up late watching tv. Right when we turned off the tv and decided to go to bed is when the awesome thunder and lighting started. So... instead of going to bed, we grabbed a blanket and sat on the front porch for a good half hour or so and just watched and listened and loved it. It was intense! Nonstop the entire time we were watching. The thunder was so loud and the lighting would light up the entire sky. It was awesome. Totally worth staying up longer for. I even was able to catch a picture with my phone... which I am never able to do. SO GOOD!! Love these simple moments in life.

That's awesome. We don't get much of that... we sure have been praying for rain non stop over here though. All the green is gone and we are just brown now. :(
Oh my goodness, those pictures are amazing. I love rain and storms too. I should live somewhere else. ;)
