I haven't finished blogging about me and Hillary's road trip yet, but it was SO fun. The more we hang out, the more we are discovering that we are pretty much the same person... except she is divorced with two kids... but everything else. We even have VERY similar dating experiences. It's weird. She is so fun though and we had THE BEST time on our road trip. I seriously want to go on another one ASAP. Not only is she fun but she is super positive and supportive and makes you feel really good about yourself. I just have to stop myself from being super jealous of her because she is so beautiful.
Seriously though, it was so great to get away for the long weekend and just be outdoors and relax and have fun and not have to worry about anything that was going on back home. Just laughs all weekend long.
Tuesday was back to life. Back to work, back to the gym. It is always nice to get back into the norm sometimes. I wasn't thrilled to go back to work, but it was good to get back in the gym. Hillary and I have both decided that even though the trainer has been really hard for us, we really enjoy working out with Josh. He pushes us, but he is still fun. Our 5:30 crew is pretty fun as well, so it makes something that is hard a little more fun.
Wednesday after my work out I drove to American Fork and met up with Desiree at the Wild Zucchini for dinner because it had been SEVERAL months since we last got together. She has always been a solid friend. I know she always really cares and always supports me and wants to help me in any way she can. She is the best. We always pick up right where we left off. We had a great time chatting for hours and catching up and decided that we need to be better about getting together and so we scheduled our next get together so that it wasn't SO long before we hung out again. Great idea.
That brings us to today! Today I took most of the day off of work to drive up to Willard, Utah (which before today I didn't even know where that was.. it's by Ogden) for an appointment I made 3 months ago. I was a little nervous about this appointment... because it involved something semi-permanent on my face. My eyebrows!! Don't worry, that will be an entirely different blog post. I'm glad it is over with though. I kind of worried a little bit about it.
After my appointment I went into work for a little bit to check in and make sure things were under control and then it was off to the gym.... to sweat my face off. I hate Thursday work outs... like a lot. It's the day I dread the most. Friday comes close after.
Tonight MacKenzie came over to watch our shows. It's fun just to spent time together... tv is just an excuse for us to hang out because that is what we did together before. I miss having her in the house, but I am happy I get to hang out with her here and there again. She is great.
I guess that wraps up the week! Summer is pretty much over and the mountains have changed color already. I'm pretty sad about it. I love fall... but I really hate Winter, so I will have to come up with a plan soon of how I am going to cope with Winter this year. Better get working on that.

It's so funny because I don't even feel like Fall has happened here in Arizona yet. We have been getting some "cooler" temperatures though, like under triple digits. Woohoo.
I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOUR EYEBROWS. So hurry up with THAT post. haha.
