Every summer there are some people at the company that throw a dinner party. I'm not sure exactly who is invited and why it gets put on... but they invite our department. Last year was a luau. This year they decided to have it be Native American themed. They had Navajo Taco's... which I would have been SUPER excited about if the dinner had been catered and not done by the cafe. Nothing against the cafe... they make some things really well... Navajo Tacos, not as much.
However, they also got Morning Star to do the entertainment. They are a Native American Group here that performs at different events. I had seen them perform before at American Folk Fest in Springville and at the New Years Party at the Provo Mall. So I knew who these guys were and they are pretty fun to watch. They had a group participation dance... and then after, Candice, Drew and I decided to participate in a drum circle and even learned some songs/chants. We had fun... and of course we have fun doing whatever because we like hanging out with each other. I am thankful to have good friends at work. It makes anything we do fun.
