Next we stayed in a small part of the City of Meknes. We stayed in the coolest Bed & Breakfast with a view. Probably one of my favorite places we stayed on the entire trip. Denice and I got to stay in a room at the very top level. Loved it.
The dinner they served us while we were there was most excellent.
We walked around the streets by our place. We stopped where they get their fresh baked bread everyday.
We wandered the streets until we made it to the top... just in time for the most beautiful sun set on the city. It was accompanied by the call to prayer chat that you hear 5 times a day... but with this setting, it just really set the mood to be an unforgettable moment.
We also went to the Medina (the market) in the city. That is always an experience...
