STUNNING Sunset!

I was on my way to my parents house in Mapleton and I HAD to pull over because the sunset was that amazing. I had to take pictures. And... I took a lot of pictures because the sunset just getting prettier and prettier and prettier... which I didn't even think was possible, but it did.

Denver, Colorado

Quick trip to Denver after visiting the national park to do a little fall shopping and go out to eat and get some DELICIOUS ice cream. I almost forgot how much I love Denver!

Rocky Mountain National Park

Since we were going to be in Colorado, I told Rachel I wanted to go to Rocky Mountain National Park. I had never been before (nor had she) and I like to see new national parks when I can. We drove all the way there (took a couple of hours) and when we got there the guy was like... you can only go a mile up the road because we already closed most of the park for Winter... AND we still had to pay to get in. What a rip off. But hey! We were already there... so might as well drive the mile and see what we see.

So here are the pictures we got in the short amount of time we were there with the little we were allowed to drive.

On the way out we saw a HUGE heard of elk running through a big open field. That was the coolest part of being there by far. I tried to photograph them, but they were pretty far away. So awesome to see though. That a lone was worth the drive.

Breckenridge, Colorado

Rachel wanted a girls weekend trip out of town. She mentioned Colorado and I am always down to go anywhere... so it isn't hard to convince me. Especially when she is the one booking everything and driving and all I have to do is pack and weekend bag and hop in the car.

We stayed in a small ski town. We were looking for fall colors but got snow instead. Still a fun weekend away. We had both never been to Breckenridge which was super fun to explore a new city together. And what a cute city it is!

Provo River Trail Walk

Occasionally Lacy and I get together to catch up and enjoy nature together. We decided to meet up at the Provo River Trail for a walk.

Of course it was beautiful... just like everything else right now. Always good to catch up with friends. Especially on a beautiful walk outside.

Autumn in Mapleton

Went up the trail that my mom walks everyday. It is gorgeous right now! I am just photographing a new place every day after work until everything is dead and it's too dark to do it anymore.
