Painting

I don't remember when, but at some point while Brent and I have been dating I mentioned to him that I wanted to learn how to paint. I did not think much more about it after that... just one of the many things I want to learn in the future. Christmas came and I opened my present from Brent and what do you know.... he gave me everything I need to start painting! He is the most thoughtful guy I have ever known in my life. It amazes me ALL the time.

After receiving this gift, I put everything to the side on my floor. I kept saying that I needed to take a class or have someone that knows how to paint teach me how. Well, last week I had some extra time on my hands and I hate being bored and lazy so I decided to just give it a shot and see what happens. I looked up online a picture that I thought could be somewhat easy to copy and I just started to paint. For my first painting, I don't think it is half bad. Here is how it turned out.
