Call me high maintenance if you wish, but I love getting pedicures. I try not to go overboard with them because that could add up really fast. I will admit I get one about every 3 months though. Yes, I am capable of painting my own toenails... but getting it done professionally is so much better and it is so relaxing for me. To be able to sit back in a massage chair with your eyes closed or reading a magazine while someone else makes your feet nice and smooth (my feet get pretty ruff) and massage your feet and legs and then make your toenails pretty, I just love it and it is worth the money for me. Yesterday I took the day off and this was one of the things I made sure to do on my day off. It was bliss... just what I needed. The lady that did my pedicure asked me if I wanted a flower... which I always do, they are fun. She did the most amazing flower with so much detail, I had to take a picture and post it. After my pedicure I walked around the mall since I was already there and was really proud of myself for not buying anything. The end.

Ive never seen a flower with so much detail on a toenail
Holy Crow, that is the prettiest, most detailed flower I have ever seen! I haven't had a professional pedicure in at least a year, but since it is getting harder for me to touch my toes, now might be a good time to break that cycle.
You KNOW i won't call you high maintenance for that. :) I heart pedicures and toe nail paints. it's nice to get pampered, and I'm glad you took the time to pamper yourself yesterday. Love the flower too. I had to laugh at the picture of just your big toe nail. I love it! So pretty. :)
You know, I've only had three pedicures in my life. I actually really enjoy giving myself pedicures. I buy the stickers from walmart, so I can still have pretty flowers!
I'm just too cheap.
Nice close-up :)
I have to admit that pedi's are one of the nicest "simple" pleasures ever! Hmmm. If I can ever justify so much money on my toes, I know who to invite!
