Happy New Year!

I can't believe it is a new decade! I can't believe it is already 2010! I am excited to see what this new year has in store for me. I am ready to meet new people, travel to new places, learn new things, lose more weight, go through the temple.... yes, this next year is going to be a good one.

This year was my first New Years Eve in Provo. I went with Sara and Ashlee out to dinner at the Art City Trolley, we then came back to my place and watched some tv before going to a ward party... after all... we didn't want to get there on time, who does that? We were only going to show up an half hour late, but got sucked into a special about polygamy. It was interesting/weird. THEN we went to the party. It was happening! There were movies, games, snacks, drinks (no alcohol of course) and great company. It started to get a little crowded so we went back to my place and watched the ball drop in Time Square on tv and that about sums up the night. It was pretty low key, but fun and spent in good company.

The Hostesses of the party.

My good friend Whitney.

Cheers! Here's to the year 2010!

I know Kathryn! Is she in your ward? We used to be in the same ward years ago before my mission :-).

I love it! Yours is so positive and upbeat. Looks like everyone had fun. So, you need to help me set my blog up so I know when updates occur. :)

Happy New Year! I spent mine (uncharacteristically) in a small family setting that involved a movie and games. It was okay, but I still love HUGE New Year's Eve parties.

tracy - i've blogged-stalked you before, and recently found you again. i don't know that we've ever met, but i'm jen's sister-in-law. your comments on her blog is how i found you.

anyway, i saw last summer that you had done the hcg diet. i was actually doing it myself when i read about you having lost weight on it. i think there was a comment you left on jen's blog mentioning it, which made me curious. so, i'm back on it again, but this time has been so much harder for me to stick to it and not cheat. i was just wondering if you had any suggestions that would make it easier. i know food options are extremely limited, but is there something you did that helped you stay on it?

just curious.

i would love to hear back from you about this if you have a chance.
