Girls Night In

I have mentioned before that I have the Peter Pan Syndrome. I just love being a big kid. After the talent show tonight (I will be posting soon, I need to get our video on YouTube first so I can post it) I wanted to have a "Girls Night In". I built a fort in the living room around the TV. I built it last night because I knew I wouldn't have time today. So my roommate Tina texts me and tells me she came down the stairs to leave for work and just laughs when she sees the fort in our living room.

In the middle of the fort, I hung some Chinese lanterns and put little tea lights in them so they would glow. I also hung some white lights around the back of the fort, so it would just have a soft glow as we watched the movie. I put lots of blankets and pillows on the floor and had a table set up of snacks. I had trail mix, kettle pop corn, homemade banana-chocolate chip bread AND homemade pizza! It was SO good.

I invited all the girls to come over in their PJ's and we watched "The Young Victoria". It was SO fun! I love the summer time! Tina and I want to keep it up for the whole weekend. There is something so relaxing about watching movies and taking naps in a fort. If you haven't tried it, I recommend it.

How FUN! :]

I haven't seen the Young Victoria or Nine, but I was way disappointed in Dear John. How was Nine? I really want to see it!
