I have to agree. I love my hometown cemetery because, for being such a small town, the cemetery is always gorgeous. BUT, the P-town cemetery is quite a sight to behold. Seriously...it transforms into a field of flowers. So crazy. Like 6 plants on every grave.
I also think they are beautiful. Whenever I travel I like to hit a local one. I think the way we treat those who came before us shows a lot about how we are as people. In Alaska I noticed that some of the graves had little piles of rocks around them. After a little research I found out those were trail markers left so the spirits could find their way home. I felt that idea was beautiful. I also love Memorial Day!
