I have noticed that this is kind of the trend right now for a healthy breakfast. My friend Rachel is the one that gave me this recipe and got me to try it out... however, the more I have talked to people about it, the more I hear about people drinking the same stuff. I love it. I think its a healthy, filling and delicious way to start out your day. I make it the night before so I can get up and put a straw in it and grab it on my way out the door. I just take sips all morning until its gone. (I like having it last longer... but that's just me)
I have had a few people ask me what I put in the green smoothie, so I thought I would post it here on the blog.
Green Smoothie
2 handfuls spinach
1 handful of frozen berries (no sugar added)
1 small container of honey Greek Yogurt (but you could use any flavor you like)
1/3 of a banana
1-2 Tablespoons of Flax seed
*Sometimes I add a handful of Kale*
Blend it up. Drink it up.

Funny I was going to post my recipe on this this week as well... just waiting to finish all the Paris stuff... looks good!
looks like green machine! right on Tracy!
Thanks for the recipe... I will use it.
Crazy. There was a lady drinking this in my class this morning...
Gary and I just picked sixteen pounds of fresh blueberries so I guess I'll have to give it a try. I need an alternative to cereal anyway.
This does not sound appetizing to me, but I would totally drink it if it was doing good things for my body.
Funny side note: my word verification word is "soyogi"
