Hammock
So this weekend I was supposed to be out of town with a friend, but as people many times do, she bailed on me leaving me at home for the long holiday weekend. There was no way that I could just sit at home all weekend, so I reunited with an old friend via Instagram and she invited me to go paddle boarding with her and her friend up in the Uintas on Saturday. I was in. This was the first time I had seen my friend Amber in like 6 years. So we caught up on life and I made friends with her friend as we drove 2 hours up to the Uintas. Turns out.. it was cold up there and all the water in the lakes were SUPER low. So we decided to drive back down the canyon where it would be warmer and more water.... only when we got back down the canyon it was SUPER windy and when we took the paddle boards off of the car to take them down to the lake, the wind was blowing us away, so we knew it wouldn't be worth paddle boarding because we would just fly away. So we went home and changed and grabbed our hammocks (I just got a new hammock from Nod Hammocks who found me on Instagram) and we went to a park up Hobble Creek Canyon Canyon and hung our hammocks and took a nap and enjoyed some relax time at the park. It was nice. I love my new little hammock. I love that it packs up small and I can hang it just about anywhere in a few minutes. Anyway... after everything was going wrong today... and this weekend... we figured it was a take a nap in the hammock kind of day. It was nice. I think I will be doing more of that in the future.

That close up picture of you in the hammock is super cute. Sorry you were bailed on, but sounds like you had some fun adventures anyway. Good job!
