Flashback Friday 50

About a year or so ago I was going through all of my boxes trying to get rid of some of my stuff. I ran across this sign that Monica made for me in 2004 when I had gone home for a week and a half or two weeks or something like that. She wanted me to feel missed and special when I got home. It worked. I thought it was so sweet and it meant enough to me that I kept it all of these years. Finally I decided to take a picture and through it away. Monica would probably laugh knowing that I kept it for so long. I guess it just means a lot to me when people go out of their way to surprise me and do nice things for me and show me they care about me.

I had to do a close up of the drawing because Monica and I used to be obsessed with watching "Pimp my Ride". I don't think it is on the air anymore, but we thought it was the coolest things ever. We watched it all the time wondering what cool thing they were going to do with the crappy cars that were brought to them. We loved it so much that we talked about pimping our own car. Of course we didn't have the money to do anything super awesome... but we did start... we didn't get very far, but mine was going to be jungle themed. I got vines and bamboo for the back, some animal print pillows and steering wheel cover and a stuffed monkey. It was quite silly. People probably thought I was such a weirdo when they got into my car. ha ha. Good times.
