Today we go back to 1998...
When I was a freshman in high school, my sister Jamie was a Senior. It was really fun to be at the same school for 1 year. We were both in choir together. She was in Madrigals and choir. I wasn't in Madrigals until the next year... but Jamie still had her Madrigal dress which was very similar to mine. One day we decided to dress up and wear them and do a little black and white photo shoot. I blew up one of the black and white photo's onto fiber based paper and colored it with oil paints. It is a fun art project that I did here and there in high school... but have not done it since because I wasn't sure how to get digital photo's on fiber based paper since I had to have them developed at special photo shops. Anyway... I love this one of my sister and I. Maybe one day I will figure out how to get my black and whites on fiber paper so I can start doing this again. I still have all the paints. It is pretty fun and makes the photo look antique.

I remember this picture! So neat how you painted it :) it looks really good.
Yay! I remember that phase of your life... the oil paint black and white picture phase. ;-) Looking at this picture makes me think I should cut my hair.
