Padres Game

Last Saturday a bunch of people in my ward and some other friends were in San Diego. While In San Diego we decided to go to a Padres Baseball game.

We didn't have a ton of time to get from the zoo to the game, so we were stuffing our faces with fast food on our way to the game. Fast walking while stuffing my face with fast food = tummy ache.

Once we got in the game, we were given free Jersey's and like 6 free bandanna's each. I have never been given so much free stuff at a game before. We also didn't pay that much for our tickets and we were in the 2nd row. I'm guessing the team isn't really good so they have to give away all this stuff to look like they have a bunch of hard core fans.

They lost their game against AZ... so I think I was right. Regardless, we had a good time and we sported the jersey's and bandanna's even though we were not even sure if we were fans... except for Wes.... he is a hard core fan and will be until he dies.  Wes also gave a speech at the game. No big deal.

Joel didn't end up with a jersey, so he got decked out with all of the bandanna's instead. He then got so bored with the game that he fell asleep.
