Flashing back to January of 2002. I had taken a trip to El Dorado California to visit Shawntel's family. She took me to a Chinese place. I didn't grow up any type of ethnic food.... I don't know why. Anyway... it's not that I had never tried Chinese food before.... but I think I had only tried it once or twice at this point. I know... weird.
Anyway, Shawntel is the person that got me started on loving different ethnic food. I think she is also the person that taught me to eat with chopsticks... I don't remember. I loved going out to eat Chinese... now... I love everything. Really.

I used to get Chinese food with my high school friends all the time. It was a thing. But yeah, we never had it at home or anything. I don't think Dad likes it.
