I feel like I have had a pretty productive week, which is nice. I always feel great when I'm productive. I have also had a few people be really great and spend time with me this week to talk about how I'm feeling, which is nice. I really need that. I am one that really needs to talk out my feelings and it helps me work things out and feel better.
Speaking of those people.... my visiting teacher spent several hours talking with me about it... over pazookies. She is seriously the best. She also dropped off a card and candy as soon as it happened. Don't worry, she also dropped me off Valentines treats tonight. That girl is going to fatten me up! ha ha. She is the sweetest though. I love her. My neighbor Geoff was another one who talked to me for hours and made me feel better and even gave me a blessing... which I haven't had in a long time... so that was good for me I think. He also offered to bring me dinner and checked up on me the next day. Such a good friend. Daniel also has spent a lot of time talking with me about it and brought me a Valentine. Let's not forget Liz and Ben... Ben and I had a little heart to heart and he gave me a big hug and sent me a something to read that was helpful. I'm so thankful for the sweet people in my life that really care and show me how much they care. It means everything to me. First person I even told was Lolly and she always understands me. We wrote back and forth and she would check up on me. She is so great. My family I know also feels for me. I'm sure they want me to find someone and get married as much as I want it. My niece Reanne saw me crying and told me that if I got a pet bunny it would solve all my problems. Ha! I have actually been really happy this week though and feeling totally fine. Oddly enough.
I got my tax return money back already, so another trip is in the making. I know... I'm crazy. I just love traveling and it makes me happy. Deal with it.
I got my car re-registered. Always nice to get that and taxes out of the way.
I went to the dentist this morning. I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months. Because I do this, it usually prevents me from having cavities. I went in and they were cleaning my teeth telling me how nice my teeth are and that they were a nice shade of white and they looked so good. Then the dentist came in and was telling me how perfect my teeth look. I'm feeling so great. I love having great teeth. Then he's like. PS you have two cavities so you will need to make an appointment to come back and pay a bunch of money. See ya! Ugh. Don't get my hopes up just to crush them. Seriously.
I got an apple tv! I'm excited. I have been thinking about it for a long time, but my neighbor Geoff convinced me when he showed me how to get tv on my phone and put it on the big screen so I can start watching the Olympics.
Speaking of the Olympics... I LOVE them and have not watched any of it at all... and it makes me sad. REAL sad. I'm feeling really left out and like I'm not showing pride for my country by watching and cheering for them. Silly... I know.
My cousin came over tonight to move my fish tank. Tank is now in it's new and permanent location. Next fish meeting will be to get new coral and new fish! :) I'm excited for that. Until then my cousin Dave is a champ for coming over and helping me out. He is so fun to be around and I love the new location of the tank. A lot more of a focal point in the room now. Now I am going to spend the weekend rearranging the room to make things extra nice and cozy. I love spending time in my basement living room now as before I hardly ever did it.
I have been watching documentaries lately. I don't know why. I have a list of shows to watch in my list to watch. Maybe it is because I am also reading books... so extra time is spent towards that instead because I know if I was hooked on a show, I would want to watch that instead of read. I watched a documentary called Brony's. SCARY! I had never heard of them until I was in AZ with my family. Grown men obsessed with My Little Pony's? What is up with that? I don't get it. I'm trying to get it but I don't. I also watched a documentary called "The elephant in the room". It was about people owning exotic pets and then wanting to get rid of them because they realize they can't take care of them or a snake kills their 2 year old, or they accidentally kill one of their Lion's. It was different than what I thought it was going to be and it was actually really sad. But let's talk about books... I finished "Intimate Connections" and loved it. Gave it back to Ben. Thanks Ben for letting me borrow that. Such a great book for singles to read. Now I'm reading "How to Win Friends and Influence People". It's a fun read that people should read to increase their people skills... which is never a bad thing. My next book I was going to read was going to be "Blink" but I committed to President Sandburg that I would read "A Single Voice" to help me with my struggles of being an older single. So I will read that and then "Blink".
Speaking of President Sandburg. I just think he is the greatest. He gave a fireside on Sunday about stress and anxiety. Which I think is such a great topic for older single adults in Mormon culture. I think A LOT of people struggle with it to a degree. I also set up an appointment and met with him on Wednesday, just to have a heart to heart. It was really great. Helped me see things in a different perspective and told me it was ok to hurt and that I didn't have to brush that aside of feel dumb for feeling so sad for still being single at 31. It's real pain, and it's ok... as long as I deal with it in the proper way. All I can do is focus on being my best self. Which I'm trying.
I had my massage this week. For the first time I talked throughout my entire massage. My massage therapist is now becoming my friend. She is great. She is 10 or 15 years older than me, but she sure is fun to talk to. She convinced me to go and try other stuff there too.... since I have a membership. Like a facial... I have never done that before. Why not give it a try since I get a discount. And waxings... we shall see. But I love meeting new people and making new friends.
I need new running shoes. My other ones are getting kind of old and were never super great to begin with. I'm thinking about custom making mine on Nike... I got the idea from the Nuskin Christmas party because that was one of the gifts they all got. I didn't even know you could do that. Sounds like fun. I might do it.
McKenzie and I stared at fish for a solid hour on Saturday. Is that weird? I think that just means it was a good investment to get my salt water tank. She loves it as much as I do. We love our Beta's too though. The hour was staring at the Beta's AND the tank. We tried to get our fish to notice each other to see if they would get mad and want to fight even if they were in separate bowls. Didn't happen in case you were wondering.

I am so glad you have so many people to help you out. If you run out of people who want to talk to you and understand you-- you can always call me! I know I'm in the middle of my own drama with Ezra, but I love you. Call me any time, I will try to have my phone turned on and near by.
I have a cavity too... we can bond over that. Ha.
Documentaries? Books? You sound like me! ;)
