Tonight I went to a local community theater (the Scera in Orem) to see "Once Upon A Mattress". I was excited because I had never seen this musical before and I always love being introduced to new musicals. I love musicals new and old! My friend in the ward (Erica) was in this play, so we also went to support her. She was great, as usual. She does many plays. I went with Erica's roommates (and my friends) which Sara, is also my visiting teacher and my friend that I tutor with every week. Then my roommates Tina and Ashlee came along. We also ran into Dan and Sarah from our ward... so they got in the picture too. We had a grand old time. It was the perfect activity since it was raining outside. For those of you who are not familiar with this musical, it is the story of the princess and the pea. It was cute, funny, fun music and great characters. Even a little bit of tap dancing... which I love. I would recommend it if you have the chance to see it. I now need to get my hands on the soundtrack so I can listen to it at work.

Fun! I designed costumes for this show about a year ago and still haven't seen the play.
Mom, netfilx it. It is actually old. Carol Burnett was the lead in the 70's. Zooey Dechanel (and Carol Burnett as a different lead) is in a recent adaptation.
I am scheduled to go next week! I love that play. My little bro was in it in high school and I can't think of it without laughing.
Where did you get your top? I love it! I love the story of the Princess and the Pea...reminds me of my daddy and how he used to tell me that story as a little girl :)
