Saturday I was going to go by myself up Big Cottonwood Canyon to take pictures and wander by myself... but then my friend Amber called asking me what I was going to do that day and I asked her to come with me and SHE DID!! I was so happy. I'm always happy when someone will go with me to the great outdoors.
It was a busy day up the canyon with lots of skiers.... we wanted to ditch all of the crowds, so we didn't go on a specific trail, we just pulled over and snowshoed out on our own and it was beautiful and peaceful and magical. We both loved it. So perfect.
I also found a perfect spot to hang my hammock. What a view!!
I love adventuring with Amber. We have a blast. I can't believe it took us so many years to reconnect! There will be lots more adventures with this girl.

She looks like a happy and fun friend- the best kind to have adventures with! That last picture is so awesome. The whole thing looks pretty Narnia-riffic actually.
