General Mills

Happy Friday! I have a special treat for you! Every year, our ward FHE groups put together a movie. Last year, my group did "The Office" and everyone had to incorporate a phrase or something like that into their video. This year, we had to include music in our video. So my group did a musical! Since my group is called "General Mills" inspired by my last name since I am the FHE Mom, we played off of that. We even dressed up for the Movie Awards (we were the only group that did). We wore our tie dye shirts that we made back in January, and I wore....
This!
Here is our awesome group! We rocked the movie awards! Like I have said before, we may lack in numbers, but not in creativity and talent! We won Best Supporting Actress (Robyn) Best Actress (me) AND best Video! Go General Mills!

*Side Note* Whoever had the best video won the trophy. So we ended up getting the trophy back that we stole. Funny? I think it kind of is. :o)

Here is our AWESOME video! I hope you find it as funny as I do. Enjoy!

P.S. Just because I am curious... what was your favorite part?

Ok, that was amazing.
I could tell you were singing on Reflection.
I think I will have to watch it again now.

Ok, so the first and last songs are my favorite. I showed it to Dan and we both laughed out loud at the Twilight references as well as "thin as a temple spire"- HA!!

PS you deserved all of your awards. I think you deserve an award just for the sister/blister part in A Guy Worth Primping For. Also, your awards show outfit was AMAZING.

"Buy some brighter colors...!" Pow!! That cracks me up, along with about 1000 other things :)

My mom and I just sat and laughed and laughed as we watched it. Your voice was beautiful. I thought the guy who said, "How about a guy who washes his car..." sounded hilarious. I also loved the channel changing from sports to say yes to the dress was so funny. The whole "guy worth primping for" sequence was brilliant, especially when everyone started out being bad at what they were doing, then progressively got better. It gave me hope :-)

HI-larious! I loved how the trophy just came like BAM! out of nowhere behind your back.. and how you will make man notice you.. instead of make a man out of you! SO CLEVER! and i thought it was fit as a temple ..i didnt even notice it was thin as a temple spire. oh, that is so funny. and all of the girls in your group as so talented and good at playing thier parts and not laughing or anything! oh, and a man paler than the mooon and wash board abs... duh, no brainer.. top on the list of good listener and spiritual.
