On Tuesday at work, we had ice cream Sunday's for my boss's birthday. On Wednesday we had team activity. Nice week at work right? Our last Activity, we hiked to Stewart Falls. Well, this time we went to Utah lake. Since we are coming up on fall here REAL soon, we thought we would enjoy being outside and on the water in the warm weather. It was a beautiful day. We had a pot luck for lunch. Salad, chips and salsa, fruit and SALMON BURGERS!!! So good.
One of my coworkers has a boat, so before stuffing my face, we went on a relaxing and fun boat ride around the lake.
Another one of my co-workers has a few kayaks. So after stuffing my face, I went kayaking with the guys. It was so pretty. During our kayak, there were a TON of ducks that all crossed the river. It was so pretty. It was like that scene in "The Notebook" except they were all different types and colors of ducks instead of all white ducks. Regardless, it was amazing. I so wish I would have had a camera in my kayak so I could take a picture of it.
I really enjoy boating and kayaking and had not done either one yet this summer, so I was very pleased with this activity for work. Plus, I got to play and not work and still get paid. So I never complain about that. Novell, Where have you been all of my life?
