Confessions of a Brunette on the Internet 86

Well.... the cold weather has started. It has been raining a lot these days. We even got a little bit of snow. Ugh... After it gets cold though.... it warms back up again and then the colors of the fall leaves look even more beautiful, so I can't wait to go up the canyon this weekend to check it out.

Last weekend was General Conference. Always a good weekend. There were some great inspiring talks that I always leave wanting to be better and try harder. I think one of the biggest shockers as far as news goes was when they announced that the Provo Tabernacle that was burned down is going to be become Provo's second temple. The first city to have 2 temples in it. Makes sense though since the Provo Temple is the busiest temple in the world. It is just weird to think that it is going to be a temple now since I have gone to concerts there, many stake conferences there AND I graduated there. It will be interesting how that turns out. Anyway, I am very thankful for conference.

Over the weekend I was going to get caught up on my blog, but I ended up hanging out with my good friend James W that I had not seen in a long time and we ended up hanging out all weekend long. Then Monday my good friend Ashley came into town from Arizona... so it has been super busy and I have not been able to catch up on my blog since I got back from my trip. I have been having a blast with Ashley though... the only downfall is that we have gone out and done things everyday, so I am completely sleep deprived. It is worth it though. Ashley is not here everyday. Worth the sacrifice.

You want to know what is annoying? There is this business that has my cell phone number down as a fax number. They try and fax my cell phone several times a day and it is quite irritating. I have called the number back and told them not to fax my cell phone anymore, but they still do. This has been going on for a couple of weeks. I called T-Mobil and they said in order for me to block one number they would have to upgrade my plan and I would have to pay and extra $5 a month. That is not going to happen. I guess I will keep calling the business back every time they call until they get the point.

I guess this whole week I have been hanging out with Ashley and her friends... which means I am making new friends. She has great friends. We also have visited Vicki at work a couple of times... which is fun because she works at the Orem Police department as a dispatcher. I think the earliest I have gone to bed this week is 3 in the morning. I know... don't ask me how I have been able to function at work... because I'm not sure. Wednesday night I tried to get caught up on sleep after work, then Ashley and Vicki came over and bribed me with a Pizza Factory Breadstick to go with them to SLC to go to this concert for a band I have never heard of. So I did.. and it was at a huka bar... which was interesting. The band was pretty good, but I was more entertained by all the old people acting like they were in their 20's.  After the concert, they played music over the speakers and a queen song came on and I think my lack of sleep got to me and I may have made a fool of myself and it may of been video taped and it also may or may not be on youtube. Oh dear....

One of Ashley's friends that we were hanging out with one night told us of an app that I had not heard of before. It is called "HeyTell". Its voice text messaging. It is pretty awesome. It is fun to hear their voice... and actually every time I receive a HeyTell message... I don't know if it is going to be a clip of a song or video... or them singing or telling a joke or just conversation. We have been having a lot of fun with it. If you want to join in on the HeyTell fun... let me know and I will send you an invite and some fun messages. ha ha.

I have Hey Tell, but I never use it. I hardly ever even use my phone.
Funny, when the announcement came about the rebuild of the new Provo Temple, you were the first person I thought of. I remembered your blog post when that building burned down.
I make a fool of myself whenever I hear Queen. Seriously. I love Queen.

OMG, I love HeyTell! It's great for when you are driving... When people don't know what it is & they see you using it you get strange looks though. At least that's been my experience!
