Confessions of a Brunette on the Internet 88

Okay... so ever since I went to South Africa, I have forgotten my PIN number for my ATM card. I have had that card and PIN since high school I think. WHO DOES THAT?! What is wrong with me? I keep thinking it is going to come back to me, but I have been back for almost a month now and it still hasn't. I think I just think about it too much and it is all in my mind. Just how to get it back... I don't know. I have been too lazy to go into the bank and just reset it. I feel so retarded.

You know what I really dislike seeing on facebook? People taking awkward pictures of themselves in their rooms trying to be all sexy AND kissing pictures as their profile pictures. There are other things that bug me about facebook too... but we will just leave it at that. One of my friends did a blog post on internet etiquette. It was pretty much brilliant and I wish they were required rules in order to use public internet sites like facebook. Just sayin.

I signed myself up to be in our stake road show. Can you believe my stake of older singles is doing a road show? They are doing it a little different though. Each ward is in charge of a different musical and you only have 5 minutes to perform! Our ward is doing Hairspray. Am I excited? Why yes... yes I am. I Love that show. How we are going to fit in several songs into 5 minutes? I'm not sure yet, but I am excited to be able to sing and dance and dress up. I am sure I will be blogging about it. :)

Rachel taught me how to color and decorate with fondant. We had fun experimenting with it one night. I actually didn't do too bad making stuff for my first attempt. Our cupcakes turned out SUPER cute. You will see when I blog about it. I could see myself doing great things with cakes now. A lot more possibilities now.

Today we had a sub in Zumba class. It was this short dude. I didn't know how I would feel watching a guy shake his hips and such in zumba class... I thought I would giggle watching him, but he was actually really good and his class was super fun. He had some great music and great dancing. I loved it. he can sub anytime!! I had so much fun in class today.

You know you are in the cafe at work too much when they all know who you are. The guy at the grill that I am pretty sure has a crush on me offers to make me whatever I want... doesn't matter if it is not on the menu. AND one of the head chef's sends me out with a free dessert. It was nice of him. They were super good too.

Why is retail therapy so awesome? My friend Vicki and I went to Salt Lake area to go shopping on Saturday and we spent a solid 4 hours doing it. I actually got a good deal for how much stuff I bought. Let me first say that it had been a long time since I had been shopping because all my money was going towards South Africa. So anyway.. I don't think I spent much more than $250 and I bought a couple of tops, new boots (which is why I was going shopping) tights, a couple pairs of jeggings, perfume, a hat, a couple of belts, a coat and a purse. Awesome right? I felt good about it. We had a blast doing it too.

I love reading about your life! I am kind of like your secret stalker! :) I had a little retail therapy myself today and it totally worked, I am feeling great! I laughed about the cafe at work! That is awesome. I went over there all the time when I was there too, its so good and convenient.

Ah, retail therapy. How I miss you.
You should ask the guy at the cafe out. Why not. And free dessert? Heck yes.
In other news, I am SO EXCITED that you guys got Hairspray! I can't wait for it, and I'm not even doing it. And those songs are super fast and you could totally do a medley with Good Morning Baltimore, I Can Hear the Bells, The New Girl in Town, The Nicest Kids in Town, The Blacker the Berry (or whatever that song is called), Without Love, and You can't Stop the Beat in under five. You can title it "You can't stop to Breathe!"

PS, my word verification word is "skill." Ha!

Sigh... love the pic at the end, makes me feel like you accomplished alot on that shopping day, which you did, and love everything you bought!

Glad I could help you play with fondant, and get the opportunity to make fish, eels and seaweed! Cant wait to see how the pictures turned out!
