Confessions of a Brunette on the Internet 187

The summer storms continue. I'm never really sure how to dress. It will be hot one minute and then the next it is POURING rain. That happened to me on Saturday. I went to the pool because I am trying to soak in the last bit of summer. I was laying out by the pool... sweating! Then when I decide to go home my drive it starts becoming overcast and then as soon as I got home, it DOWN POURED! It was nuts! It has been giving up a lot of pretty rainbows though... I'm sad to say goodbye to summer, but.... I do love fall.

I have just about lost 50 lbs. Pretty great right? Still have more to go, but I am officially a health coach now and have signed up my first client and excited to help her feel as great as I do. If anyone else is interested... let me know and I would be your personal health coach. :)

Still looking for a new show to get into. I have watched a few movies, and I watched the first season of New Girl ... which didn't take me long. I'm watching the Aquabats show.... but it is pretty silly, not sure how much more of it I can take even though I love the Aquabats.

I went to Zumba today and it was my favorite instructor ever... Marcas. HE IS THE BEST!!! He is a great dancer and always has new songs and new moves and great energy. I always want to dance my heart out in his class. I love it. I also feel like it is a dance class rather than an aerobics class... which I also love.

Speaking of dancing... I went country dancing on Wednesday for the first time in a LONG time. And you know what? I loved it. I always forget how much I love dancing until I go back and do it again. I am always paranoid that I am not longer going to know what I'm doing and people aren't going to want to dance with me... but I pretty much danced the whole time and got asked to dance a lot and picked it right back up. I should probably go more. I have been told I need to go check out the country dancing in SLC. Kind of a big deal....

While we are on the subject of country... I have never been that into country music. I just didn't grow up on it. It is one of the few types of music I'm not familiar with. Don't get me wrong... I have never hated it... I can really get into it when I go country dancing or go to a rodeo or something, but never in my life have I ever chosen to listen to the country station. Just from listening to a lot of music and knowing popular songs... I know some country music. It's funny because when I went to visit my cousin Travis, he said that ever since he moved away from Cali... he has gotten into country music a lot. I told him I wasn't the biggest fan... but then throughout the trip, I kept knowing and singing along to all of these country songs. So he called me a closet country girl. Which... the more I think about it, the more I think he is right. I have this secret (or not so secret) to kiss a cowboy, I love rodeo's and country dancing. I own cowboy boots and think the country style is cute. Maybe it is living in Utah for so many years.... or maybe I have just been in denial all of these years... but I think I am a closet country girl. I still don't think I would ever program a country radio station in my car... but I have decided to embrace my country side and I have started putting together a country mix. This is a big deal for me. I'm testing it out... seeing how I feel.

Still have boy drama. I have a guy that keeps tabs on me, but doesn't want to be in a relationship with me... at least not yet. He says he is not ready for a relationship.... but he calls me all the time. Then I have a guy that saw me 4 times in one week and wants to date me... but he isn't a member, so it will never work... why can't dating just work for me?

I am thinking more and more that I want to change the look of my blog again... get a new header.... I already have something in mind, but I don't have photoshop to make it happen... I need to figure something out. I think it's time though. I have had this look for a LONG time.

I have been hating staring down at my toes and seeing my toe with the tiny nail since the other one fell off. I decided it was time to get another pedicure. I went on my lunch break which is always great. I tried talking to the lady about Vietnam since I am going there in a couple of months... didn't really work, but they all seemed pretty excited that I was going there ha ha. Oh well. At least my toes are pretty again.

Yes to the pretty toes. I need to give myself a pedicure, but it is hard to reach my feet now-a-days. :)

I like some country. Mostly Garth Brooks. A lot of country is just whiney and cheesy to me. But I don't hate it either. I think a lot of the people I like listening to like Carrie Underwood, are kind of borderline country.

I didn't love "The New Girl." It is sort of depressing and about a lifestyle I have nothing in common with. Too bad, cause I love Zooey. I still think you should find a way to watch Veronica Mars.

And 50 pounds? That is amazing. Good job. I'm going to need to do that after I have this baby.
