Bucket List

I have really enjoyed my Traveler's Map that I made. It is fun to have a map on display that I get to continue to add pins to every time I go somewhere new. When I look at the map, it makes me happy and excited to travel to new places.

I have been really into checking things off my bucket list in the last few years. One day I got this idea...

I have had these frames laying around for a while that I have been trying to decide what to do with. I no longer like the color of wood on the frame, so I have not wanted to hang it.

My idea? To paint the frame, take out the class and, like my map, make another functional decor piece! I wanted to display my Bucket List and check it off as I accomplish them. Some of them are already accomplished and many are not. I went to the craft store and found some things that I thought would be great for my craft.

First, I took out the glass and painted the frame a thin coat of black so that a little bit of the wood showed. I then put the letters on the frame for "Bucket List". Then I Covered the back with a few different types of scrapbook paper. Then I added a piece of twine with a key on it. I also found some other scraps to add to make a collage type feel to it. I then printed my bucket list in a fancy font, cut it out, brushed it with a tea bag (to give the old look) and burned the edges. Once I put that on, there was still some space that I needed to fill, so I thought it would be cute to do the photo booth thing. Each picture of me holding signs saying I love my life. This was done with a phone app.

All done! I love how it turned out. Not everyone needs to display their Bucket List in their home, but I do think that everyone should have a Bucket List.  Another craft done. Another decoration made. It is now being displayed next to my map.

How big is this frame??

I'm not sure the size... it was one of those frames that fit 3 4x6's with a mat around it.
