Confessions of a Brunette on the Internet 93

It has been a good week. Friday our ward had a service auction to raise money for people who are less fortunate. I bought an Indian dinner from my neighbor. It is nice to get a good dinner and know that your money went to a good cause. The rest of my weekend was relaxing. Sunday I got together with friends after being at my parents house. They had a friends Thanksgiving dinner. It is fun to all get together... especially because starting on Sunday, I was home a lone at the house for this week.

Monday at work we went to the movies. We actually ended up splitting up and seeing two different movies. Lauren, Alex and I saw Breaking Dawn. It was just as bad as the book. I chuckled throughout the whole movie. It was serious and cheesy and COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY to make into 2 films. It was really dragged out and I just didn't like it (and glad I didn't pay for it). I really hated the last book though... so I guess it shouldn't have been a surprise. What is sad to me though is that so many other people think it is such a great movie. I think my favorite part of going to see that movie was seeing the previews for "The Hunger Games". Now THAT is a movie I am excited for.

Tuesday my good friend in the ward, Tara, came over and spent the night. We had a good time chatting and it was nice to not be at the house a lone. Wednesday at work was a joke to be there. There was no work to be done... so we sat around each others office chatting until we decided to go and play frisbee golf. We came back from that and Lauren and I ate our lunches on the balcony on the 8th floor of the Novell building. It was so relaxing and it was such a beautiful day that day. Then it wasn't too much longer that the manager let us leave early (2:30). Not a bad day at work.

This morning and early afternoon I spent my time cleaning the house. It feels good to have it clean. Then I spent the rest of the day at my Aunt and Uncles house in Springville with my parents and my brother and sister in law. It was a great dinner and it was fun to see my cousins and their kids. After I went to my parents house to hang out with them and watch a movie so I didn't have to go back to being home a lone.  I ended up getting into this big discussion with my mom about different guys that I have dated and different friends that I have had in my life. It just really made my reflect on who has made a difference in my life for good and bad. It made me think about what kind of impression I am leaving on people's lives... and I hope that it is good. I am really thankful for the people in my life that have changed my life for the better. This leads me into what I want to do next. Since it is Thanksgiving... I thought it only be appropriate for me to list off just a few of the things that I am thankful for in my life.

I am Thankful for...

A Loving family that I love dearly and that loves and supports me in all that I do. I am also thankful that we all get along and enjoy each other's company. My parents who are so good to me. My sisters. I wish we could all be together more. I love them a lot
Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for me
My health and ability to exercise
Not only a good job but an office with a window :)
A beautiful and cozy house to live in
Roommates that I love and get along with
Music that can sooth, comfort, uplift and inspire me
Good friends to play with and that I know truly love and care for me
A car that gets me where I need to go with hardly any trouble over the last 5 years
Technology that not only gives me a job, but makes my life easy, convenient and fun
Traveling to new and exciting places
Creativity
Laughter and the power it has to make me smile and forget about every stress and worry
My blog because it renewed my love for keeping a journal
A comfortable bed... which I don't spend enough time in lately, but I am working on getting more sleep.. which I also love and am thankful for
Delicious food to eat
Having happy and positive people around me that inspire me and make me want to be better
All of my nieces and nephews, I know I already mentioned family... but I had to give a special shout out to them... they are so cute
Cute clothes that make me feel pretty

I could go on, but I will stop there. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I love your attitude about Breaking Dawn. I haven't seen it, and I'm not excited to... and it is because I hated the book. And because I am SO over Twilight, mostly because of Kristen Stewart. Also, I am SO excited for Hunger Games too!!
I love your Thankful list. I am so thankful for you too!
