"To you women of today, who are old or young, may I suggest that you write, that you keep journals, that you express your thoughts. Writing is a great discipline. It is a tremendous education effort. It will assist you in various ways, and you will bless the lives of many - now and in the years to come, as you put on paper some of your experiences and some of your musings." -Gordon B. Hinckley
I was going through my stuff and I ran across this Journal Jar that we put together back when I was in Young Women's in High School. It has been sitting around for a LONG time. The purpose was to help us with our Journal writing by giving us questions.... so I have a big jar FULL of questions. I started right after we put it together... but I didn't get very far. So... I thought I would give it another shot. I have started a new blog "The Journal Jar" and I am going to answer each one of those questions. I have NO IDEA how long it will take me, but I figure it would be a fun challenge. Never a bad idea to journal I say. I mean.. obviously I do that already... but this will be journaling in a different way.
I don't expect anyone to follow the blog... it really is just for me. However, I am going to keep a link to the blog for anyone who does want to read it and even a better idea... if people want to copy the questions and do it for themselves. You can get to the blog by clicking on the picture of the Journal Jar on my side tab.
Can't wait to see what questions are inside the Jar!

um, yes please! I might just be copying some of the questions. I love it!
Awesome! Well... keep an eye on it then. I am going to try and do it several times a week. :)
That is a cool idea. It is amazing that you hung on to that jar after so many moves and after all this time.
:-)
of course I'll read it.
