This flashback takes us back to 2001, when I went to my first concert. CAKE! I can't believe it took me that long to go to a legit concert, but whatever. I have loved the band Cake since I was in Jr High, so when they came to the Santa Barbara Bowl... Cheryl, Amanda and I decided we had to go, and since it was my first concert, I had to get a shirt of the band. Yep, that happened.
There were lots of opening bands for Cake, one of which was a blue grass band called The Hackensaw Boys. We LOVED them... so much that we took a picture in front of their bus.
It was so fun.... such great memories from my first concert.

I went to a Cake concert once with the Turners after a day at Disneyland. It was on Sunset Strip, which I thought was hilarious and ironic.
