Christmas Music

So one day at work I was talking to my manager and we started talking about Christmas music. He then said... "You know what one of my all time favorite Christmas songs is? ... All I want for Christmas is you by Mariah Carey". I started laughing... I guess I wasn't expecting that to come out of an older married man that works at a software company. Right after that he pulled up the video on YouTube and everyone started singing and dancing to that song. The other departments must think we are SO weird. I guess that is okay because we kind of are.

Anyway... this got my manager and I talking about our top 10 favorite Christmas songs. I thought it would be fun to make a list and post them on my blog. So... here they are in no particular order.

#1- Baby it's cold outside performed by Louis Jordan and Ella Fitzgerald

#2- Merry Christmas Darling - Performed by the Carpenters

#3- All I want for Christmas is You - Mariah Carey

#4- Where are you Christmas - Performed by Faith Hill

#5- Christmas Tonight - Dave Barns

#6- One More Sleep Till Christmas - The Muppets

#7- When Christmas Comes to Town - From the Polar Express

#8- I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas - Performed by the Drifters

#9- Ave Maria - Performed by David Archuleta (I heart him)

#10- Mary Did you Know - Performed by Donny Osmond

Okay... so now that I started putting this together, I have a lot more than 10 than I love... so I think there is going to be a part 2 to this. I love music and there is A LOT of great Christmas music out there. I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am this season. :)

Ok. I agree with less than half of your choices. Maybe I have more traditional tastes when it comes to Christmas music. By the way, that video with Jennifer Love Hewitt is super awkward. For a lot of reasons.
