St. Patrick's Day

Last night I was invited to a girls sleep over with some girls in the ward. It had been a while since I have done something like this.. I mean... I have had friends spend the night and stuff... but I am talking about where you stay up late talking about boys and do pranks and watch chick flicks and eat sweets. Needless to say we stayed up VERY late. Then got up early the next day (and they made green muffins for breakfast) to go drive up to Salt Lake for the St. Patrick's parade... which I actually didn't even know that they had. Turns out it is at the Gateway mall and lots of people go to it and are all decked out in their green and dressed as leprechauns and such. We of course all wore green. I even painted my nails green.

We got there right before the parade started, so there were not a ton of spots to watch. We decided to watch from the shops above leaning against the railing. It wasn't bad... but I was really wanting to sit... I was so tired. The parade seemed forever long (I am not the biggest fan of parades in all honesty) and we were ready to go.

Then we found a better spot to watch the parade. A big window look out. There was no railing or anything by it, so we knew that we would be asked to get off eventually, but we decided to enjoy it until we were told to move. In my opinion, it is the BEST way to watch a parade!!

These girls are so much fun. Glad I got to spend some time with them this weekend.
