Flashback Friday 129

Today I'm flashing back to January 2002.... well, that is when this picture was taken, but it is more of memories from attending Santa Barbara City College which was 2001-2003.

This is a picture of Aaron and I at the top of the stairs of the SBCC stadium. Many people ran around that track and up and down those stairs because they are so steep. That campus is probably one of the most beautiful city college campuses. It is right next to the beach! We would bring our lunches and blankets and sit out on the grass between classes (Shawntel, Aaron and I) and watch the ocean and sometimes dolphins. I loved it every day. The downside of having a beautiful view was that it was a hike to get up to the campus from where you parked. You either climbed up a steep hill or many stairs. Later Shawntel, Aaron and I took classes together and made similar schedules so that we could all carpool together and then we got to park in carpool parking which was closer. We all worked together at Far West as well... so we would just go to work after school. Worked out great. We did everything together those couple of years. They were my besties.

I have a lot of great memories at Santa Barbara City College. I loved going to a school right next to the beach. We took beach volleyball and Marine Biology (where some of our labs would be at the beach). It was awesome.

Oh man, I LOVED going to SBCC as well. Harvard on a hill/ Stanford by the sea ;)
Those stadiums are a killer workout... wish I could go do it more often. For the workout with the view! Love you.

I LOVE that campus. I feel like I could go there any time and never feel out of place. And it is so beautiful, that is true. One time I did the steps in the stadium a few times before a dance class though, and the next day my knees were a wreck! I'd rather just run around the track.
